      This is a bit off. It doesn’t include the fact that Ukraine has now lost multiple generations of men in the war. Ukraine is going to have a huge population decline in the coming decades due to this fact alone.

    5. I think this is based on the assumption that past trends will just continue into the future.

      I’m a Slovenian and I don’t see this bleak scenario for Croatia. Croatia is developing and growing quickly since adopting the Euro, is generally very safe and beautiful and I think many expat Croats will return home.

      And not just that, also other Europeans could move in larger numbers to Croatia. Just my opinion, of course.

      I know this is just Europe but there’s other countries around the world that will see this and more – Korea, Japan, China and Russia.
