    1. Not surprising, the Dutch and by extension its companies are an extension of US imperial economic power.

Lol, you can’t make this shit up. The Dutch are an actual Fifth Column inside Europe.

Truly, we are a continent of servers, bankers and prostitutes, nothing more.

    3. well this is going to be a messy situation if true because ASML is basically the only company that can make those extreme UV lithography machines so they have all the leverage

    4. if this is true thats absolutely wild that a company would offer to become an informant after getting caught breaking export restrictions

    5. Many EU member states are willing to sacrifice the interests of another member state just to serve the interests of the United States.

Take the Nexperia incident in the Netherlands as an example: the Dutch government seized a Chinese-owned company without consulting any other EU member state, which later led China to halt chip exports and caused heavy losses for German car manufacturers.

The EU must either slim down and kick out member states that are disloyal to the Union, or everyone will stay together, rot together, and wait for the whole system to collapse.

Wha would a western country do to a Chinese CEO who would promise this?

Where are all those posters who still think the EU can use ASML to threaten the US?

    8. I’m curious how TSMC will react to this. If what the book author claims is true, it could very well jeopardize the trust with ASML.

There is no alternative for ASML’s EUV right now, but that might change in the next decade.
