Start with the no doctored fares first. Taxi drivers have a very fucking inflated impression as to how the public perceives the industry.

What could be more transparent than knowing what the fare is before you book a taxi?
Taxi drivers run their own personal fiefdom/cartel – every single reform that would benefit the public they have lobbied against. The sooner there’s a reasonable alternative to them that isn’t exploitative like Uber, the better.
What use to cost €10 now cost €15 when I have to get the very odd taxi to work.
