Getting friendly with the dude murdering people on Canadian soil, nice. Good to see Carney’s moral compass at work
With the way the world is doing, there will not be many partners left for Canada if we only trade with countries with high standards and values.
I am getting sick of this government’s habit of announcing deals that aren’t finalized. How about doing the actual work and finish these deals instead of announcing all these promises, intent and studies. Trudeau did the same but it seems the government under Carney is worse.
Yall can virtue signal when we aren’t in a damn trade war. Our unemployment is high. Our Healthcare is stressed. Affordability is a big concern. Top that off with our population declining without immigration, we are doomed.
We got no time to be picking and choosing who we want to work with. We gotta make those deals to get us up and running. These aren’t life long partnerships and selling out. We need to SURVIVE. We can’t keep waiting for the EU to get a deal going.
We can’t demand things from countries when our military is weak. When our economy is weak.
We need to be strong so we can demand change. We can’t call the shots when our own citizens can barely survive.
Oh great time to negotiate with the person that sicced the Research and Analysis Wing on to a Canadian citizen and killed them via paying a international crime syndicate.
