The tools I used for :
Scraping & Analysis: ORION– My open-source Python tool (Runs locally).
Stack: Python requests (for lightweight JSON fetching), reportlab (for PDF generation), and flask (local server)
The methodology is that the ORION engine uses Python to fetch public JSON endpoints from Reddit (respecting rate limits), filtering for 1,850 distinct keywords to measure the relative frequency of topics.
Four of the first five topics are explicitly banned on r/AskEngineers. So what’s the point on this post?
TLDR: students discuss school, professionals discuss work
