This seems completely pointless. There’s no need to indicate that all vehicles are driverless, unless the fact that they’re all driverless poses some sort of safety concern. In which case, maybe the technology just isn’t ready yet.
Are we supposed to stay inside and away from the road when it flashes white?
This technology has the potential to save countless lives and reduce congestion.
I don’t see what advantage this would really give. Smarter cars may make it possible to time the traffic control more efficiently, but why can’t you indicate it with the same red-yellow-green color scheme just the same?
