      Out of the blue…..just 2 days ago there were reports that her voters would stick with her. She doesn’t seem the type to flee the playground if the other kids were mean. There is more news to come no doubt.

      I’m reading the Discworld series and, of course, it has tons of jokes.

      One of the characters was talking about someone going to jail to see a mayor or something. The other person asks, „Why is he in prison?“

      And the reply, „We send them to prison as soon as they’re elected. It just speeds things up. Don’t you?“

      You know, I’ll give her credit for this much. She stuck to her guns on the Epstein files and basically stuck it to Trump on her way out the door.

      With that said, I do wonder if this is because she knows her political career is now essentially dead in the water or if she started being the recipient of the death threats she built her career supporting when they were directed at other people.

      She’s putting all her chips on the bet that Trumpism backfires and there is a massive shift away from MAGA among conservatives. They will relabel themselves as something slightly more moderate while still championing the same basic principles. And she’ll be there to run for office when the new silent majority/tea party/maga take over the Republican Party. She’s rolling the dice. High risk, high reward.
