      Whatever really.
      If Starbucks is okay with that, they are the ones paying.

      The employees are not paid enough to care about that.

      Wait, I’m not from Korea so please explain the faux pas… where I am from people charge whatever they want all the time in Starbucks. Pls explain nicely…

      There are parking stops for cars in Starbucks, they could designate one of those spots for parking bicycles and electric scooter And provide charging. It’s not that expensive but would offer a lot of convenience.

      For a battery like this (~1.5kwh) the cost of electricity to Starbucks is about 10-20% of the profit they make from a single drink. And someone coming to charge will likely buy more than one drink or some food item too. 

      Trying to enforce something like this is probably not good for business.

    6. It’s less offensive than people „setting up shop“ for the day and using the place as their personal workspace. 

      As long as it’s allowed inside, I have no issue. For those in the article worries about charging e-bikes, I don’t think they’d be allowed inside, just like regular bikes aren’t.
