      can we ban new republic articles? their headlines are always garbage and it drives me crazy.

      I watched this live and the interaction was certainly remarkable but that is not the way the question and answer played out. The reporter asked if he still considers Trump a fascist, Mamdani tried to deflect a little and then Trump said „you can just say yes“ and Mamdani awkwardly said yes.

      headline is actually a little inaccurate. the question was asked, he barely got into answering when trump interrupted him and he said „it’s ok, you can just say yes, it’s easier than trying to explain“ and they moved on. the whole meeting was a little shocking tbh watch it

      Actually he didn’t get to answer. Trump told him say yes it’s easier than explaining then laughed it off. It’s all part of the game for him. That’s what seems to be going over everyone’s heads you all are changing your lives for things he only views as part of the game.
