In the spirit of Operation Mincemeat
If the Taiwanese ever fish a dead PLAN officer from the Taiwan Strait carrying secret plans about the location of the landing beach for a Chinese invasion,
It’s the other beach.
I imagine this would be preceded by a flash blockade, surgical missile strikes and air power fights over the island. I don’t think people are generally ready for how awful this is going to be as a conflict.
Has Taiwan erected any unmanned pillboxes overlooking those beaches?
I have heard of a scenario where they land in the mountainous area on the eastern side of the island.
Why does this simultaneously feel inevitable but also like it’ll never happen. I worry about this. Maybe more than I should.
