Interresting, but it should be coupled with the social services of each countries. Like in France we have a lesser gross than the USA, but we have almost free healthcare, and almost free college, and a pretty good state retierment plans, so on and so forth.
In the end I believe French are better off than Americans.

I will make a prediction that there will be a flood of commenters who either don’t realize or refuse to believe that the data is in fact adjusted for differences in prices / cost of living between countries via PPP
