    1. I don’t understand that. In Russia, you also have to say you are loyal to Putin if you want a job in a state-owned company.

Requiring personal oaths of loyalty for government workers is one of the first things Hitler did when he became chancellor.

    3. I can say it’s probably not a job they should take anyway. This is will major stain in their careers

      Just lie about it.

Its what Trump did when he took his oath. So clearly it’s OK and only a moron like Donald Trump would actually expect you to mean it.

You’re only asking applicants to lie to you with this shit.

Right now, job seekers will say *anything* for steady employment and health insurance.

Trump believes he’s a dictator.  He will never willingly leave office.

      > “How would you help advance the President’s Executive Orders and policy priorities in this role? Identify one or two relevant Executive Orders or policy initiatives that are significant to you, and explain how you would help implement them if hired.”

Isn’t this question basically encouraging the „deep state“ Republicans have been bitching about forever? While a person seeking to advance the President’s EO’s might align with the executive office today, in four years when we have a new President with different objectives, any of these loyalists that are hired who are still seeking to advance his objectives are now acting against the interests of the new administration, which is basically the definition of the „deep state“ according to these people.

So deep state = bad unless they’re doing what I want them to do in which case deep state = good.

    9. Man I was watching John adams, the HBO series and there’s a scene where he tries to give the president a fancy title. And Washington get pissed at him and says you will address me as president AND NOTHING MORE. Assuming anything close to that happened that was a real man. Trump would be there like damn right I’m your highness, and why haven’t you made me a crown!

I know MAGA hate when people say this but in this case it’s 100% true.

Swearing loyalty to the leader is exactly what Hitler force Germans to do.

This is a disturbing echo of history and to make government employees swear an oath to any president makes no sense since he or she only can hold office for 8 years max.

You can say that making employees wear an oath to President Trump is just another example of him telegraphing that he believes he is not leaving office

Maybe its just me, but Congress and SCOTUS need to come out of their right wing closets and deal with their frankendent.

      Now.

    12. This was in the Project 2025 Manifesto! The Heritage Foundation is responsible for this! Trump is just the Piggy they need to get their hands on the government.

What kind of honor is it to profess loyalty to a orange lump of shit stuffed in sprayed tan shit covered sack? Were not losers like the GOP and maga

    14. I would cross out Dementia Donnie’s name and replace it with the words ‚Constitution of the United States‘.

    15. Because our oath is to law and the constitution. It’s the only way democracy can continue to operate.

Having read the article… the question is divisive and unacceptable in singling out presidential orders but it is not an “oath of loyalty as the headline or some of the comments imply
