Nobody cares about papers in Russia. I don’t see a reason to even review it. So.. some work done in vain
That false sense of pride. Putin will rather die then admit defeat and give up. The only solution is that life gets so bad for the Russians they will finally stand up for themselves and dethrone him.

Many of the Russian far-right are hoping that Zelensky will abandon negotiations and the war will not end.
Among them, Zelensky is called „our elephant“ and „the only ruler with an imperial mindset.“
I have a Russian colleague in work (UK). They too believe that Russia is liberating Ukraine. They also wholeheartedly believe the war would be over if it wasnt for Europe sabotaging the peace process, i.e. not accepting complete capitulation of Ukraine and essentially a full disarmament. They lament that no-one likes Russia anymore, and blame Ukraine for that.
Its astonishing (and fascinating) to see the power of propaganda at play. Also fascinating to see the lengths an individual will go to, to be a victim, when they are so blatantly the aggressor. This person wholeheartedly believes what they say and are insulted and angered when I challenge their thinking on the matter.
These are the people we are dealing with. There is no point in trying to compromise or reach consensus. Only strength matters now in the fight against Russian Imperialism.
