the coloring of the 0-100% scale is pretty bad
I can look at any part of the map and still have no idea what is the percentage of maori there. Just low, high and something in the middle

Why are they concentrated in these particular areas? We these like areas the white settlers did not particularly want, or were there large concentrations there before the Euros arrived that just survived onward, or something else?
