Liberals not beating their transnational elitist reputation any time soon. I do hope we aren’t paying her for that made up envoy job while she busies herself trying to improve some other country’s higher education.
If Carney didn’t enter the picture it seems reasonable to believe she would have won the leadership of the party and lost the election.
She made her play, opposed Trudeau, and there’s no place for her.
Her highlight, for me, was her hardball negotiations with the Americans. If you recall that time, she was being celebrated as a strong Canadian leader expertly dealing with an American menace.
