The implications of this are massive. On one hand, I have always felt that, for most topics, online surveys just don’t get you a very representative sample. Maybe this will be a push for researchers to use better sampling practices (yes, which require more funding).
On the other hand, we may be in for a wave of junk science full of data unknowingly collected from AI, which has formed its responses by collecting junk data formed by AI.
