      > David Fincher’s mysterious Squid Game project set in America may finally be moving forward. A new listing from the Film and Television Industry Alliance website reports that the new series, titled Squid Game: America, will begin filming next year on February 26. Fincher has yet to confirm this himself, but this is still the first concrete update for the show in months. It’s also unclear at this time who will star in the show, but it has been confirmed that Cate Blanchett’s mystery character from the end of Squid Game Season 3 will not be featured in Squid Game: America.

      I don’t know why people are up in arms about this — I’ll absolutely give it a shot, the franchise and the director, respectively, have earned that much from me.

      So he just casually forgot about mindhunters and opted to do an American squid game spin off and a once upon a time in Hollywood sequel? Idk man, after the killer movie, he might be falling off

      Or he’s cooking somehow and we just don’t know it. I hope it’s this

      Already lost interest Squid Game. Finally got around to watching all of Alice in Borderland and thought that was a lot better(aside from the mediocre 3rd season)

      Fincher is incredibly wasted at Netflix. A remake of a Korean show that everyone already saw five years ago?

      I have to assume that there’s some serious back room drama for it to end up like this.
