The government should be very clear that if it happens again they reserve the right to sink the ship as a threat to the UK.

If the Russians were seriously planning military action against NATO countries surely they would just leave us alone, do a quiet buildup and then a sudden strike while we are off guard. That makes sense, right? All this slow prodding and provoking nations into a state of alertness and combat readiness is the exact opposite of what I would think they would be doing.
