Als ich ein kleines Kind war, kamen meine Eltern und ich jeden Sommer für unsere Ferien nach Kroatien. Etwa 15 Jahre lang verbrachte ich jedes Jahr 1-2 Wochen auf Krk, Pag, Rab, Cres, Mali Lošinj, Hvar, Korčula und anderen Orten. Aber in den letzten Jahren haben wir Krk zu unserer Lieblingsinsel gemacht, daher kenne ich irgendwie alle Städte, Restaurants, Supermärkte, Strände, Veranstaltungen usw.
Dann kam die Universitätszeit und auch einige bekannte Probleme, und wir kamen für etwa zehn Jahre nicht mehr nach Kroatien. Die gute Nachricht ist nun, dass ich vorhabe, nächsten Sommer alleine auf meine Lieblingsinsel Krk zurückzukehren, um das zu tun, was ich früher getan habe: an die Strände gehen, in Restaurants gehen, die Gegend erkunden, fotografieren und entspannen! Also fing ich an, im Internet nach den Orten zu suchen, die ich früher besucht hatte, und war von den Preisen etwas schockiert.
Dies war eine fantastische Konoba in Malinska wir gingen immer. Soweit ich mich erinnere, war es immer voll mit Einheimischen und auch Touristen (scrollen Sie nach unten für die Preise; auf Tripadvisor heißt es jetzt, dass ein Caffé Macchiato 3,90 Euro kostet).
Das war eine wirklich gute Pizzeria in der Nähe (für die Preise nach unten scrollen).
Sind diese Preise für euch normal? Oder sind sie nur zu Touristenfallen geworden?
Ich hasse es nicht oder so, ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, ich liebe die Insel, das Essen, die Menschen usw., ich bin nur neugierig, denn manche Preise sind fast so wie in der Südschweiz, wo ich herkomme. Ich sage es nur.
Ich habe auch online nach Preisen in Supermärkten gesucht. Wie ist es möglich, dass einige kroatische Produkte hier in der Schweiz weniger kosten als in Kroatien? Heute Morgen habe ich genommen diese Fotos bei Coop, einer der größten Supermarktketten hier (Preise in Schweizer Franken, 1 CHF = 1,08 Eur).
Sind die Preise nur an der Küste oder auch anderswo so teuer geworden, beispielsweise im Inneren von Orten wie Zagreb?

If you will still come and pay these prices, they have no reason to change them.
Last summer the papers were full of articles talking about the higher prices of everything. It’s the reality. A nice meal in a nice restaurant will be only 20-30% less than what you’d pay in Amsterdam equivalent… and Amsterdam is more expensive than the rest of the NL.
Regarding the local products being cheaper abroad is a painful topic for the locals. The consensus is that this is due to the corrupt government and the lobbying of the import lobby.
Answer to all your questions is one: sadly, yes
Simple supply and demand economics.
As long as people are willing to pay such prices, restaurants and cafes will charge them.

It is really sad, but the prices in that Konoba and pizzeria are nothing unusual. It used to be much less, but after Covid and Euro Croatia had huge inflation. Right now I’d say eating out costs roughly as much as in German large cities, while food in supermarkets is like 30% more expensive than in Germany. I spend some time in Croatia and some in Germany, I compared products from Lidl and yes, it’s very bad.
Real estate at the coast and cities was driven up a lot. Zagreb is at Frankfurt levels for new construction, Franfurt suburb for the older buildings, with much lower salaries, much worse job prospects and much worse infrastructure.
As of holidays, check out what the accommodation costs, but better first sit down in a stable position. I’m not going to the Croatian coast any more. Too expensive.
Those prices are mostly normal, you can eat marenda/gablec at local restaurants for less or at supermarket restaurants, and of course cook yourself.
Coffee and drinks you can find at 2e/4e if you look around, not hard.
Krk is a medium expensive place overall, but as long as you can afford accommodation, you will be fine.
Restaurants are full of people so locals are full of cash so there is inflation.
