I just read an [article ](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp3x71pv1qno)about how ChatGPT was encouraging young people to commit suicide, we definitely shouldn’t be trusting it for this yet
Those better be completely self-contained AIs that exist only on their employer’s servers or taken the trouble to remove every identifier prior to putting in the information, or they’ve committed a gross HIPAA violation.
My mother is a doctor and she uses AI for Hipaa compliant transcriptions, which i think would fall under „documentation“
Edit: it’s not like i told her to, it just gives her one less thing to do in a busy day.
If you give me AI generated notes as purported medical advice, I am reporting you and leaving the practice. Already done it once.
