This is a much bigger news than most think, it means there is infighting within the QLP and that Rodriguez is not in control of all parts and factions of the party.

    2. Ugh. Infighting is not good for PLQ with an election not so far out they need to be coming together and trying to strengthen their position ideally to weaken the PQ.

The PQ are probably celebrating this

Firing Rizqy, probably the only and for the by far the most respected liberal in Quebec is such a stupid thing too.

PQ and PLQ fighting for the idiocy trophy, as per tradition.

    4. Suddenly leaves post? Elsewhere, it’s been reported that she was removed/excluded as a response to her firing of Hinse, her chief of staff, who’s currently under investigation. Hinse is a close associate of Pablo Rodriguez.

So it sounds like he didn’t appreciate that she was fired without his permission. Either way, it’s not a good look for Rodriguez because Marwah Rizqy would probably have been chosen to be the leader of the party if she had not announced she was planning to exit politics.

    5. Rizqy was one of the most (if not almost the only) respected member of the PLQ. Most respected MNA by her peers too and appreciated by most Quebecers for sure.

      Not good for the PLQ.
