So the plan is to break everything to the point it can’t be fixed even if the dems get back in, and then profit? I mean I get the things that they’ll sell to private corps, but what does axing this research do? They’re just being anti science for the sake of it

I hope RFK Jr gets the starring role in the new reality show „Ow! My Balls!“. It’s the least he deserves.

But pro life eh? Probably doesn’t feel like that for the cancer patients.

Clinical trials are sometimes the absolute last hope patients have. These can be cancer patients with a very aggressive form of cancer with no available cure. Trump essentially sentenced people to death.

      I have Stage IV Melanoma.

These trials are the last hope for many patients. Not only that, but the research they are doing and the advancements they are making in cancer and other sicknesses are moving the needle.

I work in pharma and many of these companies have closed forever this year.

The research is still happening the US is just not doing it. The brilliant minds will follow the research and in 5 years if, god forbid, someone gets cancer. They can now fly to China, or India, or somewhere in Europe to get treatment.

Well, this assumes that the Trump administration cares about foundational ethical principles of human participant research.

    7. How much do you want to bet that the cancer trials were for things like breast cancer or cervical cancer. You know, *women’s* health issues, because that would make them DEI treatments

My God, that is cruel. But he will fund airplanes for Kash and Ice and ballrooms and Argentinian interests. Sometimes it should absolutely not be about $.

Blood is on his hands. Cutting of research trials that could have led to hundreds or thousands of lives saved from these potential medical advancements. I still can’t believe the reality this country has chosen.

Stage 4 colon cancer patient and just had a trial stop for no clear reason and now I’m wondering if it was this instead of the efficacy or safety…
