I can’t believe they did not even do the most basic research into the river’s water levels before pouring millions of tax money into this…
In a few years when these teething issues have been ironed out it’ll be a fun option for tourists and locals to have a river cruise, but my god the planning and implementation and entire business case has been a complete disaster and waste of money. I’m half expecting one to actually sink in the new few weeks….
When they introduced the project, it was already unnecessary. The E-land Cruise should have just been expanded.

For those of you who don’t know, that ferry that scraped its bottom is *still* stuck, and authorities are just waiting for river levels to rise at this point 🤡

December through March is called „winter“. This sounds like the difficult time of year for river boat operations in a four seasons country.
