Ich ging zum Fox News-Hauptquartier, um den neuen „King of Late Night“ bei der Arbeit zu sehen. Es war auf eine Weise düster, die ich nicht für möglich gehalten hätte.

So, just out of curiosity, I wanted to see how many people subscribe to Gutfeld’s show on YouTube, and you can’t. You have to subscribe to Fox which has a pretty good amount, over 14 million. So that’s for all of Fox.
And then I wondered about Jimmy Kimmel and how many subscribers *he* has. Just him, not his network, because that is possible. More than 21 million.
Long live the king?

They moved his time slot so he didn’t have to compete.
He’s not the „King of Late Night “ he’s basically primetime.

> “Ladies, we know why you’re here,” said the security guard, who would lead us into the studio at last. “Greg is a very sexy man. A very sexy man.
> “Ladies, control yourselves,” he added. “Keep your underwears on, all right.”
> A U2 song played loudly over the speakers. “Good song,” said someone behind me. Gutfeld shuffled his producer’s notes and produced a pink vape. He hit it, and hit it, and hit it, and hit it again. He has told reporters he isn’t allowed to vape in his apartment, where he lives with his wife and their 1-year-old. Not so at work, it appears.

It’s amazing that this is now the most watched late night show (or should I say “late night” show), and I’ve never seen it, never seen a clip of it, and don’t even know what his voice sounds like. I guess we are just in different bubbles. It’s also interesting how far late night has fallen- Johnny Carson averaged 15m in his best years. Now 3m puts you in first place, and its timeslot is actually borderline prime time.

Gutfeld always reminds me of the fictional loud, obnoxious late night hosts that appear in TV shows and movies.

It is wild that the guy regularly pulls 300k views on his YouTube clips, sometimes close to 1M, while Colbert pulls in millions regularly. Every left wing comedy personality blows him out of the water – other than live watching. And who live watches anymore? If Gutfield represents the right, then they should add up all the left wing hosts numbers because that’s the number of people that actually hate him. Those are the real left vs right late night numbers.

One weird trick: air your „late night“ show at 10P when there are a lot more viewers.
Become „king of late night“.

Gutfeld is just a late night version of The View, but instead of a writer’s room filled with actual comedy writers it’s Russian troll farms and Grok AI writing all of the “jokes.”

Fox News is weird. Always has been.

I don’t dig gutfeld much anymore. But I do miss red eye back in the day. That was a great show.

It’s like I’ve always said, everything conservatives do, they do worse than anyone else. Comedy is an obvious and, let’s be honest, objectively accurate example.

Conservative comedy is so god awful. I’m at the gym around the time Gutfeld’s 10pm show comes on. Even with the sound off I can tell its just an hour of petty juvenile insults. The male guest „comedians“ he has on all look like they should have their hard drives confiscated.

Even my friend of a friend who is a 3 time Trumper hates Gutfeld. It’s not just the conservatism, it’s that he’s actually never been funny.
Even the Kill Tony losers at least have a structured joke or two.
This guy is just convinced he’s hilarious, because he’s surrounded by people who say so to placate him.

Hold up, dude is 5’5” apparently? Well that explains quite a bit. And look I have short king friends and they aren’t garbage bags like this guy so it is possible to rock that stature and not be a hateful jerk.

Gutfeld has never told a joke that he didn’t laugh the hardest at

Andy Levy had the patience of a saint to deal with Gutfeld all those years. That or Gutfeld truly just lost his mind at a certain point.

Every time I see this little man I just can’t help but think he’s a shorter, more right wing Beverly Leslie.
This tiny man is a huge scumbag.
