Reportedly, she was frigid
Is his new love also frozen? Does this guy have a popsicle fetish?
Chances are, she’s never coming out of there… or if she is, likely as some human paste/sludge. But if the cryo -tech lasts a couple centuries, she wins the lotto of lottos of survival, and they can somehow repair her within a utopian futuristic society, well… he’s gonna be long gone. Either way, dude made the right choice. Why is this even an issue lmao…
„Widower finds new partner.“
FTFY
This article really tries to make some case that he has some duty to his dead frozen wife, but it’s entirely possible he could die before she could possibly be revived, if reviving her is possible at all.
I feel like it should be perfectly possible for him to love his de wife and hope for her revival and also do what he sees fit in the now. Reviving a frozen person is not guaranteed.
Movie title- “Love on Ice: Cold Feet, Colder Wife”
I thought she had more than one face for a second.
I read the title too fast and thought it said something „man who cryogenically froze his wife’s feces“. Really glad that’s not what it said.
Doubles are good but triples is best
Dudes cheating on his cryogenically frozen wife.
Crack open a cold one
What a stupid article.
Did he skip out on the payments?
A lot of these cryo companies end up going bankrupt and the already frozen people don’t stay on ice….
Budget Dr. Freeze
Have they ever successfully taken a *perfectly healthy mammal*, cryogenically frozen it, and then thawed it back to life successfully? Not even a human. A rat? Have they ever done it to a rat?
No? So its all bullshit then.
Why would anyone in the future revive these rich a-holes other than experimenting? who’s gonna enforce a deal made in the past between some dead dude and a most likely non existing company?
Has she got boneitis or something?
Did Ahnold freeze his wife?
I could imagine being upset if he was Mr. Freeze. Batman: „Seriously, after all that, you found someone new?“
But no, this is just a widower with means.
Mr. Freeze finally moves on
First read it as „Man who cryogenically froze his wife’s face“ and thought the new love should probably watch out.
I’m tired and read that as „Man who cryogenically froze his wife’s face…“ and was very confused.
Isn’t this a headline from the news ticker in Plague Inc.?
Is his name Bob?
maybe he’s trying to hook up a three-way
Cryogenics seems like a huge scam. Like bro you are brain dead, no activity. It’s over, even if they wake that body up it ain’t me.
People are really stretching to be judgy about this one.
Wasn’t expecting this Victor Freeze twist. That new love saved Gotham City!
„He explained that he’d stayed single for two years, but suffered from health complications that left him immobile, without any help at home.“
Seems like he could freeze himself until there’s a cure for that hmm …
Say they suddenly find a cure for lung cancer in 30 years, alongside curing death, he be 94, and while his wife would also be 94, she’d still be 57 in body, she’s not staying around.
Not a single scientist in this thread. Grieving man tricked into donating dead wife for scientific study. There is zero chance of reviving somebody who has been frozen. Even if the billions of burst cells can all be thawed and revived, the electrical signals that formed her memories and personailty are all gone. An empty-brained lump of flesh is the most he could hope for, but not in his lifetime or even this millenia.
We just dodged a real life Mr Freeze origin story.
I don’t know why most would be so upset. She’s already dead. Preserving her in a cryotube is a lot like storing a flower in a book and then never opening that book so the flower doesn’t blow away in the slightest breeze.
Who has time to criticize this guy when we have a whole ultra wealthy class to criticize for our current economy and rising unemployment?
She’s dead. Why are people outraged?

She’s jist being kept of ice while he tries other options.
I think the backlash is more of a response to the man saying he remains devoted to his wife and doesn’t really love the new girlfriend.
„Despite entering into a relationship with Chun-sha, Junmin says he remains committed to his wife.
“She hasn’t entered my mind yet,” he said of his girlfriend. “I have a responsibility for her, but it’s a complicated matter. She can never replace my wife. I can’t just forget the past, but I still have to live my life.
„I don’t care about her, she can go wherever she wants.“
How do you tell your new partner that you’re
1. Married
2. Froze your partner
Without making your new partner wonder if you will eventually freeze them too…
Not a problem. There hasn’t been one person in the history of the world who has been resurrected from a cryogenic state and you can bet your house she won’t be the first.
Seems like his choice makes sense. He still has to live in the present and avoid being lonely if he finds the right person. No different than when a widower might opt to remarry. The guy is effectively a widower with zero chance his wife will come back to life anytime soon.
Plot twist: He could only afford to have her head frozen and she’s a highlander.
Oh, look, people are outraged about something that is none of their business again.
>In November 2025, Chinese news outlets discovered that Junmin had started dating again. Junmin himself confirmed that he has been living with his new girlfriend since 2020.
>He explained that he’d stayed single for two years, but suffered from health complications that left him immobile, without any help at home.
He got health issues which left him immobile, so he got a girlfriend? The article says it was a „severe gout attack“. Is he a billionaire, or otherwise endowed somehow?
