There are at least 11 senses. My favorite is proprioception. It’s what’s keeping you from cutting off your own limbs by reminding you that they do, in fact, belong on your body.

It’s been well-established that we have more than 5 senses. There’s no exact number because it depends on how you break them down, but 30+ are sometimes proposed.
