While I classically identified as having various specific eating disorders at different points in my life, there were many more years where I fell unnoticed because I did not meet the criteria for anorexia, bulimia, or BED. I think these measures need to move towards more criteria involving the harmful thinking, control, and self-esteem associated with them.
