      On one hand, I don’t give a fuck because I understand what a signature is, know that there is no issue with this, and the only reason it’s being brought up is because the GOP made such a big deal about it when Biden did it

      On the other hand, I’m human and love pointing out hypocrisy as a gotcha, and it feels good to dunk on people you don’t like, so idfk orange man bad I guess

      I don’t care about the autopen signatures. The presidential autopen is an American tradition.

      Few things, though:

      First: if the autopen is the problem, what the actual goddamn fuck is the DoJ doing changing fucking signatures? Shouldn’t Trump be literally resigning every single fucking document they have identified as an issue?

      And if the answer to that is no, then there is no issue with the autopen OR the damn signatures. Period.

      Second, this whole idiotic thing reads like a false „oopsie“ intended to entrench bias against the autopen. „Oops! Looks like Trump fucked up by *checks notes* doing the exact same totally routine thing that he says Biden was bad for doing. Which is *bad* amirite? Only bad thing the Trump admin has ever done, is this specifically not bad thing.“

      Lastly, who the fuck is looking for discrepancies in Presidential signatures? It certainly isn’t anyone doing anything important. Because it doesn’t fucking matter. At all. Because we all know who was President when, what votes occurred, who signed what, etc, because actual real records exist about what actually literally happened.

      I don’t buy it. Noone fucking cares about the autopen. Anyone who has ever signed anything digitally has used what amounts to an autopen.

      This whole fucking story is the admin setting rabbits loose for journalists to chase, with the insidious intent of undermining the veracity of *any* signed executive action to include legislation, by attempting to create doubt whole cloth out of absolutely fucking nothing.

      Trump could sign a freaking „X“ on every document, use a rubber stamp, whatever. It doesn’t matter. How about a wax signet ring? That’s a medieval autopen, btw.
