Even if the PCs were not handpicking winners to shower their donors and friendly organizations with cash, this fund still looks like a waste of money.
Most of these projects look like straight-up corporate welfare, dumping private training costs onto taxpayers or diverting resources away from public colleges that should be doing it in the first place. And this is not a small fund, it’s $2.5 billion dollars.
