    1. $3.99 for jammy dodgers! they are like 70p ($0.91) here! Even with shipping them over there what a rip off.

Honestly fair game. Prices aside, I wouldn’t blink to see this at a newsagent. Kinda baffling that someone would pay so much for such basic stuff though…

Watched a competition once where people tried to eat as many Jacobs crackers as they could without drinking anything. I think the winner ate 6 before the crackers just became saw dust

    4. Assuming the Irn Bru is not the original kind as I think certain flavourings are banned in America.

I’m british living in the US and this little section keeps me sane. Worth every penny

    6. Dear Yanks, the Salad Cream is perfect on a Cheddar cheese and Crisp (potato chip) sandwich. Try the Lemon curb on buttered toast. Look for Kerrygold, Anchor or Lurpak. None of your American rubbish.

Tim Tam’s are an Australian variant of Penguin bars. I don’t mind them tbh. God only knows what a Violet Crunch is. It’s not from the UK or Ireland.

You need an Irish section too with proper sausages, black and white pudding, rashers of back bacon, soda bread, potato farls, Cidona and red Lemonade, Kimberley biscuits.

    7. I’m always happy when I can find Yorkshire Tea states-side. If it’s Yorkshire Gold, all the better.

    8. Sharwoods jars are a bit weird. They’re not bad if you want a cheaper curry, but there’s no way I’d be living abroad thinking “man I could go a Sharwoods right now”. I’d want an actual Indian Restaurant curry.

I have never in all my life seen a tin of bachelors baked beans in the UK

    10. Our local supermarket (Morrisons) has an entire rack of American foods.

7 out of 8 shelves are full of different varieties of Reese’s Pieces.

    11. Other than the Tim Tams pretty solid selection, fingers, jammy dodgers, Sharwoods sauces, Maltesers, Heinz baked beans, Marmite, Robisons squash, PG Tips, Yorkshire Tea, Foxes Glacier Mints. Decent.

Is that full fat lucozade..? I’d pay double that if you’d send it back home please!

Standard Publix British section, seems largely the same in most branches.

Generally buying online is my preferred method if I need some British food stuff – British Food Depot is generally a solid choice. It’s cheaper and they have a wider selection.

    14. I love Fry’s Turkish Delight (the small purple square thing almost in the centre of the photo). Must nicer than actual Turkish delight. 😂

    15. Not a bad effort
Expensive though! Jammy dodgers ($3.99) are 84p here give or take depending on the supermarket
I’m not arsed don’t really touch biscuits just noticed the prices

Not too bad but what’s with the Tim Tams?! They’re not even British and they take up over half a shelf. They need replacing with custard creams, teacakes, and Tunnocks caramel wafers.

    17. NGL, that’s a pretty decent basic selection. It looks like an expensive little Tesco that only sells the main brands. Covers a lot of the bases for a homesick Brit I’d imagine. Decent biccies, proper custard and HP. I wouldn’t be mad.

    18. This man publixes

Its my local, stock up on the beans, branston, and hobnobs often
