Isn’t it a blow in the face of those right-wingers who keep saying that „Naturalized Japanese citizens shouldn’t be able to work as government employees as THEY WILL DEFINITELY BE A TRAITOR?“
Apparently the inspector here is a „Japanese by birth“. So did being „born in Japan“ reduce treason anyways?
I think its better to judge a person by its character, its abilities and experience and its devotion towards the nation rather than where the person was born because „NOBODY CAN CHOOSE WHERE THEY ARE BORN“.
