The absolute cheek on these bastards. Everyone in this company’s senior management needs to be jailed.

At least the courts are making sensible decisions here, there is that positive to take away from this.

Thames have long behaved like a bunch of gangsters, they need to be got rid of.

I hope this will wake people up to the reality of what these companies are. It isn’t simply bumbling incompetence or greedy fatcats taking everything that isn’t nailed down. These people know exactly what they are doing and will use every available tool to put people off holding them to account.

Individuals and even political parties are taking a huge risk when they take these vultures on in court. I’m going to send Charlie Maynard a note promising to contribute a few £ to his costs if the threats are ever successful. I want people like him to know they have the public’s support.

      >Thames Water’s barristers argued that he should be made personally liable for its expensive legal fees to “deter” future appeals to the supreme court.

      That is fucking sick.

    5. The public „I dont understand why they have such debt and are unable to simply provide water and remove sewage at a reasonable cost. Whats the issue?“

The guardian „Thames Water’s spending of up to £15m a month on an army of lawyers, bankers, consultants and public relations advisers.“

      Oh. yeah. that’ll be it.

      What the fuck!

Lobbying to charge us more too. Socialized loses , privatized profits.

They’re rotten from top to down. The other day I saw their driver littering a sandwich packaging on the pavement through the truck window

Once again, right-wing economic policy turns out to be a terrible idea! Who could have predicted that privatising our essential services would be a disaster, except for the half of the country that said so at the time? Remember this when they claim that moving to an insurance-based system will be an improvement on the NHS.

If that is true then I would want Thames Water brought down in whole (mostly compensation to the guy then company sold to the government).
