      I know, when I’m accused of something I didn’t do, I try my hardest to make sure no one can provide the evidence that would clear me of any wrong doing. You know, like a normal person. 

      It’s like all those courtroom dramas, where the defense attorney blocks the admission of evidence that would prove their client’s innocence? 

      Wait, I think I have this backwards…

      I guess the best way to counter that would be a full release of the files, wouldn’t it? That would surely exonerate Dear Leader beyond any reasonable doubt!

      Also, at this point I am stumped as to what you could say about Trump that given his *actual* conduct, would rise to the level of „slander“.

      Nixon era „the cover up is worse than the crime“ seems absolutely quaint now. This cover up is the worst scandal of a US President. Ever. What remains to be seen is how truly awful and extensive the original crimes were. We know enough to know that he is one of the worst people in modern history.

      I don’t quite understand how we as a society move past this whenever the truth is revealed. Almost every Republican covered for him for 8 months. Is that not corrupt to its core? How can we ever trust the GOP again?
