This taught me that New York is over 8% Jewish.

I had no idea it was that high. I mean, I knew it was higher then the other states, but still.

I find this so interesting because in Georgia I’ve genuinely only met one Jewish person but there’s plenty of muslims. I literally don’t know where a Synagogue might be but I know where a Mosque is.

theres a random mosque in my city, like its just there in a middle of an otherwise empty lot surrounded by random tire shops and gas stations

Florida is very Jewish. Most are from New York so it’s not a surprise.

I think the source you linked actually has data for DC’s Jewish population, believe they’re missing the Muslim population.

    6. No data in CT, but I can speak personally – In my section of CT, more Jews, we have a pretty large Hasidic population near me.

There are plenty of south asians too… but I’m not positive about religion. I have a feeling the Jewish population is larger (stamford)

I used to travel globally quite a bit for business and have always been impressed by the kindness and beauty of Muslims.

Wish there were more here in Southern California.

Illinois is very surprising. I grew up in a Chicago suburb and my school got out for Jewish holidays.

    9. I’m speechless. I mentioned to my husband how many Muslims our town now has but the map states Jews. Very interesting.

Who really gives a shit. Seriously. Is there a state in the nation where WASP isn’t the majority? God I hope we make Puerto Rico state. I am WASP.
