The headline is misleading, but at the time, this was the only source I could find. It isn’t ’posh folk’ prancing round the country on horseback, this is six men digging out one of our most beautiful mammals from its hiding hole using a terrier dog. The fox is then literally thrown to the hounds.
This is why the loop hole of allowing hunts to ‘trail hunt’ must be outlawed. It’s just used as a guise, to allow the hunts to carry on breaking the law week in, week out with this kind of cruelty as the norm.
