    1. Now, some of you may go broke (or die). But it’s a sacrifice I am willing to make.

    2. Any year working under Musk would be miserable, based on what I’ve read.  I’m curious if it’s going to be even worse.

Work is supposed to get easier not harder.

You’re working a job, not fighting in the revolution.

    4. It would be interesting if ai takes over and everyone stops buying super corporate shit and open up mom and pop shops again.

    5. Muskrat needs that $1T package, you better fucking work to death for it or you are fired!

Meaning: “You’re going to make us a lot of money, at the expense of your lives! And you’ll do it because, well, we know you will. Because what else are you going to do? Your entire life had been geared towards this job. And you’ve been told along the way this is what it’s all about… you’re going to what? Throw all that away? Hahahahahhaha back to work maggot!”

This is all so fucking stupid. Elon actively sabatoges the company at every turn and they just pay him more and more money. None of thia makes any sense.

All we ever hear about is how they have a duty to the shareholders to maximize profits so of course they will do layoffs. But here we have this one guy costing an obscene fortune who runs around destroying your reputation and making people hate your company but still no consequences for Elon.

But it will all be worthwhile because if you work hard and succeed then Musk gets a trillion dollars and you’ll get maybe a $20k bonus.

    9. > One person said the meeting was meant to be a „rallying cry.“

      > Elon Musk’s pay package hinges on Robotaxi and Optimus success.

If your company is trying to rally the employees to make sure the Nazi CEO gets his trillion dollar pay package, you might be working for the wrong company.

Call me a spineless commie, but I really don’t think people should have to go through the ‚hardest year of their lives‘ just to hit arbitrary KPIs and make some very greedy rich men even richer.

    11. This eventual collapse is going to make Enron look like a preschool trial run.

    12. I have a kind of niche engineering skillset, and I’ve been approached by recruiters for Tesla and SpaceX multiple times, and man do I turn those requests down faster than anything. „Work crazy hours on projects that will be cancelled or totally change direction at the whim of a wildly capricious CEO“ is… not a draw for me

    13. This should read : Tesla AI boss tells staff because of milestones on 1T pay package in 2026 they’ll have to work overtime constantly to deliver vaporware and pump the stock.

    14. If any boss ever tells you this, and you aren’t also getting the biggest raise of your life ahead of time, you need to hit the job market.

There was an old term for this kind of thing back in the formative days of organized labour. Factory owners would push the workers harder and harder for faster output that would eventually harm their staff. They can make 50 widgets a day? I want 60 for more profit. They are making 60? Now I want 70. Workers had to actively resist it to save themselves from getting wrecked.

    16. After they successfully make THE BEST ai programs, their effort will be rewarded with layoffs

Tesla stopped growing. What did you expect. Tesla cars are mediocre compared to Chinese cars.
