That’s why I don’t understand political parties that have both an anti-immigration and an „let’s block/revert everything that can reduce the impact of climate change“ perspective.
They are not reasoning about possible second order effects. You can decide not to care about something, but that won’t mean that that thing won’t impact your other goals..
Tens if not hundreds of millions of people are going to migrate from Africa, the Middle East and Asia to relatively more habitable locations on the planet in the next couple of decades.
Plus more and more wars for resources such as water.
IRAN’s water problems have more to do with mismanagement than lack of water.
