      Lol. All envious and jealous women are using the opportunity to attack Sydney Sweeney for nothing these days. What happened to women supporting each other huh? Guess when one is too succesful and beautiful jealousy takes over

      I totally agree that Sidney Sweeney gets a lot of attention mostly because of her looks rather than her acting skills, but come on… Ruby Rose complaining that she should be picked instead of Sidney, really? She can’t physically act.

      She is good in more physical stuff like fighting scenes but once she opens her mouth it looks like an AI-generated voice. That was probably the reason why her character on John Wick was mute.

      I don’t know truly if SS is MAGA or not, and don’t really care. Most of these attacks on her are based on that assumption, rather than her acting prowess.
      Get over yourselves.
      RR ruined Batwoman, or so I have read as I never tried watching it. Ruby should look in the mirror.

      For those who haven’t read the article, Rose wanted the part. She partly uses identity politics as her rationale for why Sweeney shouldn’t have been hired.

      Some background on Rose’s departure from her most recent acting gig – 4 years ago. Rose took a „sabbatical“ from acting in 2021 after leaving Batwoman. She said she left that show because of a dangerous and abusive workplace. Warner Brothers Television said they chose not to renew her contract due to „multiple complaints about her workplace behavior.“

      I get she’s not a very good actor, and I get she’s been labelled as some terrible person (with precious little evidence, fwiw), but I don’t think I have seen women in the industry lash out like this before. Seems a bit harsh. I thought we’d moved past the whole women putting each other down to get ahead thing.

      I’ve never seen this much discourse over someone who isn’t even a very good actress. This has nothing to do with her politics. She’s a very average actress who gets by on her looks and her body. What were people expecting? I’m sure she wants to change that narrative and step into more serious roles but she needs to first learn to act better and also learn to market herself better.

      Weird to choose someone to be in a biopic who isn’t queer and can’t act. But it sure AF shouldn’t have been ruby rose who -is- queer but also can’t act.

      I don’t know if I’ve seen anything with Sydney Sweeney in it… but Ruby Rose couldn’t act to save her life. She’s awful.

      Rose sucks, but Sweeney is hilariously bad at acting. She’s just having her time in the sun. Once acting dries up she will be kardashian famous for being famous and just coast

      Ruby Rose has had opportunities and they’ve been terrible. Couple that with her behavior on sets and I think we can allow her to fade into obscurity.
