What kind of people plunger their own country anf people when they are being slaughtered by invaders …

Zelensky needs to be tough in corruption.

    4. Zelensky covering his friend and saying he should resign. He should be put on trial and put life in prison. The war would have never been started if Zelensky was never president.

To Zelensky’s credit, he is fighting a war with very little margin for error, Ukraine’s corruption predated him, and fixing that corruption while facing a giant crisis that absorbs all his time is difficult. To be more critical to Zelensky, I think this demonstrates one of the big problems with suspending elections during an emergency. I’m probably too guided by the example of the US still going ahead with elections during the Civil War, but a free people should have the opportunity of challenging the government and holding it to account even during an emergency. Yes there’s a risk of the enemy using an election as a chance to try hijacking the government, but ~~ai~~ I also think every year that goes by without a fresh mandate erodes the government’s legitimacy

Edit: Also, Im not insinuating he’s a dictator – and “erodes legitimacy” maybe isn’t the best wording when suspending elections during a crisis is right there in their constitution. I more just question the wisdom of that part of the constitution

Ukraine has not had elections since 2019. Maybe time for the people to actually have a voice.

For those of you who are brainwashed by Ukrainian propaganda, just google Timur Mindinch. You’ll understand why Zelensky was against NABU but then was forced to reverse it after his own people and the West protested.
