The MG-3 is probably Thai, as it responds after the more normal machine gun sounds. But the MG-3 sound its so distinctive.

I can’t tell who is shooting at who in this video.
I’m not going to pretend to know the intricacies of the conflict but the Cambodians essentially poking their neighbor that has 50 million more people and 10x the GDP is certainly a choice.
