    1. The CARB emissions rules and regulations are getting real messy.

Would be seriously curious why Dodge won’t explain how it can now suddenly sell this thing in 10 more states and expects to unlock the remaining 7 states…. what’s about to change in the coming weeks?

    2. Why have cars become so ridiculously overpowered and yet our GPU manufactures drip feed progress

    3. And that thing can still be beat by a cheaper electric car. Stellantis is working hard toward its obsolescence. Hope we won’t have to pay to bail them out of bankruptcy again.

    4. Such stupid vehicles. I avoid these things on the road because they seem to be universally driven by people with poor judgement.

As sedans the hellcats are garbage. Putting that into a SUV is just asking for trouble. These things can’t take corner as speed at any time. Now put that into a top heavy vehicle.

    6. The Hellcat started in the mid to late 90’s. We were approached to build a fuel pump that could supply a god awful amount of fuel to the engine. I don’t recall the exact amount but it was a large amount of fuel that eclipsed any production car in the world. (i.e excluding limited production like the Veyron etc). By their admission it was built for those who needed to purchase more testosterone. It had nothing to do with being able to use that power.

With the Trump administration’s climate change denialism and war on environmental regulations, it’s not surprising to see emissions standards being eroded across the country. Fuel economy and engine efficiency on one of these things certainly hasn’t improved, that’s for sure.

    8. Dodge sure likes to take classic muscle car names and completely ruin them. Charger is now a sedan, the Dart was made into a compact, and now the Hellcat is an SUV.

“Dodge says it’s now able to offer the 710-horsepower Durango SRT Hellcat in 10 more states than before, but it won’t tell us why.”

Then the first 2 paragraphs…tells why.

    11. Lmao “banned in **only** 7 states”

Here I was thinking the normal amount of states to be banned in was 0

Whenever I see a dodge or ram I just assume they’re an idiot

Worst reliability reputation of all the American brands, and they look like they were designed by a kid in a trailer park

They might as well be banned in every state with the volumes they’re selling

Only thing noteworthy is that it gives the lambo urus a run for its money. Too bad for its stigma and the people it attracts

      wtf Dodge?

You get rid of the challenger and then give the Durango a Hellcat edition? Why not the Sprinter next?

I feel more and more like there’s someone inserting nonsense into my simulation to try and wake me up.

Starts at $96k, terrible gas mileage, weighs almost 3 tons, all for an oversized sideshow/street racing machine.

    17. They are probably working on a coal version now that trump team has kill any climate science initiative

So wait a second, if Dodge is bringing back the hemi, doesn’t that mean all those “Last Call” editions were just a marketing gimmick and are now no more valuable than a normal charger?
