    1. ‚There was “a price tag for these killings: children cost more, then men, preferably in uniform and armed, women, and finally old people, who could be killed for free,” said Mr Gavazzeni.‘

Italians, Americans and Russians, apparently. Not sure what that says about Italians, but nothing good in any case.

    2. Interesting to hear about these rumors being investigated now. I remember being told about them on a tour in Bosnia in the mid-2010s. Impunity is almost normal, unfortunately – not just in that war.

I did a reverse-image-search for that lad aiming the sniper rifle in the article but it didn’t turn up too many results. I was wondering if anybody knows what the source of that image is, or whether it dates to the 1990s.

Pretty similar to Israeli soldiers killing children in Palestine coming from USA UK etc.

I’d like to see all reports. There is basically nothing in English and it makes English news on this sound like guesswork. But all stories sound similar and someone definitely paid at some point. But how many?

It seems to me that Europeans have forgotten the details about this conflict, the online discussions are always about „historical tribal hatred“ and „everyone killing everyone“, I think it needs to be pointed out that the siege of Sarajevo was commited by Serbian forces, and that at least 67% of the internationally convicted war criminals were Serbs.

Did people forget Milosevic’s trial? No, all sides were not „equal“, there was in fact a clear primary agressor, so much that NATO had to bomb its capital. I’m saying this because Serbia’s politicians today, as well as the vast majority of its citizens, still refuse to admit it, pretty much like Japan with WW2.
