Most people have never seen a movie shes been in. Just gifs, of parts of some. To this day I don’t know what her voice sounds like.

Continuing the trend of being really obsessed with Sydney Sweeney for some reason.
Eden and Americana were held off being released for loooong periods cause they doubted there would be a market. And they were right. I liked Americana though. Pretty good indie flick.
Most i have seen of her has been in euphoria and i didnt think much of her performance.
The overexposure to her has definitely made me less enthusiastic about watching her work, I’ll say that.
Dose she really deserve all this hate? It’s like she’s some iconic evil, and not some 28-year-old aspiring actor.

She’s passable in euphoria, playing a teenager, but I really don’t see her ever breaking into prestige acting. Her agent should just get her big money bombshell roles and I’d love her in some campy horror.

I’m sorry but this is such a shit article, and I am no fan of Sidney Sweeney.
It’s literally counting Echo Valley, a streaming Apple movie that never even went to theaters as “doing poorly in theaters”. Christy was made for $15 mil, Americana had a budget of $10 mil. Counting either of these tiny independent movies as “massive flops” is so ridiculously disingenuous. Eden was the only movie with a sizeable budget that flopped and she wasn’t even the lead.
I’m not a fan of her acting or her politics, but this is all garbage. If you want to say she’s a shit actress – by all means, but making up sensationalist clickbait shit isn’t helping anyone.
She just doesn’t have the charisma

A specific group of people are obsessed with hoping she fails…when she is already more successful than they can ever be.
