No, it’s stands for gross bomb weight, explosive weight is less than half of it (1200kg, IIRC). Still a powerful bomb.

Yere more concerned about where the ‚3000‘ name comes from than the fact this ‚3000‘ bomb hit an apartment blocks…..

    4. What was the point of targeting this building? Looks completely destroyed prior to the hit.

Is this recent? Kind of surprised they’re hitting the city like this considering it’s already effectively surrounded. Would think they’d just finish the encirclement and starve them out and use their air assets elsewhere on the front. Just me being an armchair general though and maybe this is on the Northern side of the city where they’re trying to close the ring. Would be interested to know when and where this was.

    6. Lie, manipulate, destroy, rape, pillage, repeat… and we still think there’s some hope of a settled outcome with those scumbags.

    7. Daym, even if you wasn’t in that building I imagine those in the surrounding area would have their body and brains scrambled from the shock wave. I really hope Ukraine didn’t have many or any troops in the area, but I fear the worse.
