Mark Carney is struggling, as Trudeau did, with the optics of the fact that what’s good for business is bad for the people. You can make GDP go up, but if people can’t afford to live, what’s the point?
He’s not struggling at all. He loves it because it keeps wages low and keeps his rich buddies wealthy. They will probably increase it in the next year.
