Honestly, the NDP recovery is something I am willing to bet on the party’s massively improved media coverage in the past month or so post convention with the staff changes, because Marit’s been getting more coverage than I remember (even more than greenbelt scandal times), but still, a long way out from government.
Doug Ford’s corruption and mismanagement is literally killing people and he’s still this high in the polls? I do not understand voters at all. Hopefully the Liberals can elect somebody good and finally take him down (or the NDP reverses their fortunes, but that’s seeming even less likely). Or Ford just leaves, having bled the province dry. I’m sure the buddies his government is enriching will take good care of him.
I find it wild that no matter what Ford seems to do he just keeps rising in the polls. Like people seem to criticize every decision he makes but they still commit to voting for him? Wild.
Kathleen Wynn left Ontario in some major shit, but did anyone expect her legacy to be gifting the PCs free reign over Ontario forever lol? The other parties need to do some major soul searching.
I really wonder what is the one thing that gets the electorate to dislike Ford to the level where hed be despised like some leaders get to be.
Barring a scandal that is too blatant even for the PCs, IDK what it is.
