Don’t forget that the Council of State criticized Antwerp protest ban, although it has not reversed it.

      >In its ruling, the Council of State found the Antwerp city council’s reasoning too vague. „They also stated that activists should be able to demonstrate where their protest is relevant,“ Gielen said. „In the case of a demonstration against the city council, that would be up to City Hall.“

edit: how many extremists are here that are downvoting for just telling the truth…

What do these people ***actually*** want for Gaza/Palestinians and what do they think Belgium can ***actually*** do about it ? As far as i know there is a ceasefire that appears to be holding (for now, untill hamas breaks it again).

In the meanwhile there are wars and genocides going on in the world that are far more brutal and deadly, but these same protestors seem to care very little about those events … Maybe cause these groups have a certain bias towards certain other groups ? xD

    5. I was there, police was looking for trouble, even though we were standing were they wanted us , they kept harassing and then used the water canon at the only decent entrance of het steen plein.
      Discusting.
For those doubting the purpose of this protest, its also about the reaction of our local government and the right to protest. Every escalation will just fuel the message
