Edit: I’ll take this moment to mention that Libertarians are all about the free market of ideas and still banned me from /r/libertarian years ago for a comment poking fun at them.

Libertarians are conservatives the same way the people who put Thin Blue Line stickers on their cars are Nazi Lite. They’re just afraid of being labeled what they actually are.

Libertarians only could possibly take some seats, not even whole states, in rare conditions. I’m willing to bet if they campaigned hard in parts of New Hampshire they could take one of the seats, but that’s about it.

Fun fact: Unless you’re in a swing state, then your vote doesn’t matter because of the electoral college. However if a third party gets 5% of the vote, that party can get extra ballot and debate access on the next election.
Evidently an unpopular opinion but if your going to bitch and moan about the two party system then don’t even think about criticizing all the other options just because you are too much of a pansy to vote for what you believe. If everybody voted for what they believed in, we’d have actual multiparty systems.
