Hallo zusammen, ich brauche einen Rat. Ich lebe in Limassol und hinter meinem Haus gibt es ein leeres Grundstück zwischen zwei Häusern. Mein Nachbar aus dem Haus links stapelt immer wieder riesige Mengen Holz und Altmetall an meiner Wand – der Stapel ist mittlerweile über drei Meter hoch.
Er scheint Holz und Schrott zu sammeln, um ihn zu verkaufen, und ich glaube, er nutzt das Holz zum Heizen, da er wahrscheinlich keinen Strom hat. Das Problem besteht darin, dass dies eine ernsthafte Brandgefahr darstellt und Schädlinge anlocken oder andere Probleme verursachen könnte.
Ich glaube nicht, dass das Land ihm überhaupt gehört, aber er behandelt es, als ob es ihm gehörte, und lässt niemanden es nutzen. Er spricht kein Englisch und ist nicht sehr freundlich, daher war es unmöglich, mit ihm darüber zu sprechen.
Weiß jemand, an wen ich mich diesbezüglich wenden kann? Wie die Gemeinde, die Feuerwehr oder jemand anderes? Ich möchte das nur sicher aufräumen.

We know a person whose house burned down in the recent fires because a neighbor had garbage stashed in their back wall. The garbage caught fire and it spread to their back veranda back cover and then to their roof

I have a very similar problem with my neighbor, but he stacks old pallets and fire wood in his parking port, and because the parking port is full of this trash he parks all his cars on the small street we live in. No need to mention he is a proper old school thick as a pigshit Cypriot born and raised in the deep villages. The other day I had a fight with him to clean all the trash but the guy is not taking so I went to the municipality and they said they gonna send someone to inspect the coming week. Hope they give him a hefty fine and clean all that trash and gather all his broken down cars inside his parking port.
For some reason people like this think they are the main characters or something and can do what they want until someone tells them off
