    Weckt dieses Monogramm-Abzeichen irgendwelche Erinnerungen? Gefunden in Südbelgien. Möglicherweise eine Schule oder Akademie.

      I don’t know but it does resemble the Freemasonry symbol in a way. Not saying they are related, but there is a similarity.

      It is a military insignia from before WWII, I think. But I don’t know which division. 

      Perhaps u/WarHeritageInstitute knows?

      Where was it found? Southern Belgium is pretty vague. It look like a military insigna, probably not even belgian.

      Given the corrosion and font, it’s probably bronze or brass from around 1880–1920.

      Can you show the back? That would be useful.
